Black Silicon Carbide (C)

  Black Silicon Carbide is made from a mixture of high quality silica sand and petroleum coke or anthracite by fusing in an electric oven at a high temperature above 2000℃. It’s black with great hardness and sharpness, and it has the properties of crush-resistance, corrosion-resistance and good thermal state performance. It’s suitable for making grinding wheels, coated tools, superior refractories and deoxidizer etc., and it could also be used in machinery wire cutting and electronic industry lines.
