Green Silicon Carbide (GC)

    Made from a mixture of high quality silica sand and petroleum coke by fusing in an electric resistance furnace at a high temperature above 2000℃. Its micro hardness is 3280-3400kg/mm² in green color with sharp cutting edge. It has the properties of crush resistance, corrosion resistance and good thermal state performance. It is suitable for superior refractories and for making grinding wheels and it could also be used in machinery wire cutting, solar energy polysilicon wire cutting, electric-heating elements and electronic elements lines.
